The Challenge
During production some bearings were overheating to temperatures from 100 to 1200 C shortening their service life, resulting in frequent breakdown, high repairs and maintenance cost, and loss of productivity.
The Polytron Solution
Polytron EP-2 Lithium Complex Grease was applied in the “problem” bearings, resulting in dramatic decrease in operating temperatures, down to 800 C, considerably reducing down time and increasing productivity.
