The Challenge
Gearbox of a Condenser Pump was overheating above shutdown temperature, due to very high ambient temperature, so compressed air was used to cool it down requiring editional air compressor operating continuously, which increased the operational cost.
The Polytron Solution
Polytron MTC was applied to the gear oil in the gearbox, resulting in operating temperature dropping down by 4 to 5 0C which was enough to avoid the need for compressed air.
